That’s where I come in. Hi! My name is Kerryl Tobin and I am an Authorised Celebrant, having completed my training with Rose Training Australia in 2023. Most events involve a “Raise Your Glass” moment, so what better way to start your celebration than with ‘Raise Your Glass Celebrations’.
A bit about me… I am born, bred and based in the local Bathurst area of Central West NSW. I am a mum of 2 fabulous (now adult) kids, and one cheeky fur baby, Frankie. I am an 80s tragic, love the music and the vibe. I love time with my friends and family, travelling, live bands and a sip of bubbly on the occasion. I am a Registered Nurse by trade so love being with people from all walks of life, experiencing their most vulnerable, precious and heartfelt moments. I’m pretty good at sitting down for a chat about whatever your heart desires, great at listening to what you have to say and your ideas, and making you feel at ease with a warm smile.
My Nursing career has allowed me to work and live in many different places in this beautiful country of ours, and I do love to travel, so if you’re after a destination wedding, I am able to do that for you with plenty of notice (within Australia). I am a chameleon-like character, able to fit in with anything, from a formal -themed soiree, to a casual backyard do. Traditional or not. I have been known to dabble in Cosplay, so am not afraid to fit in with your favourite themed wedding. Just ask.
I love weddings and all sorts of celebrations. I love to write stories. To be able to create a personalised ceremony for you to remember and cherish for the rest of your days would be my honour. There are legalities that need to be included, but other than that, it’s all about you.
I’m happy to roll with most ideas you may have, and love animals, so pets are more than welcome. With the exception of spiders. Confined spaces and underwater are my no-go zones too. And I can’t sing, so no singing the ceremony to you either..

Getting Started
You’ve made it to the end of “about me”. I must be your “cup of tea” or “sip of champagne”! If you would like a one-of-a-kind, celebration-loving celebrant to “raise your glass’ with, please fill out the request form on my webpage and I will call you. Or if you are so excited and cannot wait a second longer, pick up your phone and call me.
I will arrange a time and a place to meet you for a cuppa or a glass of bubbles. My shout! Bring your ID and we will fill out some legal paperwork. I will send you off with some forms to fill out that will tell the tale of how you met and give me all the details about what you may have planned about your wedding so far.
As soon as I receive that information, I will begin crafting your ceremony. I will always keep you updated with how it is all going and will send you a draft a couple of weeks prior to your big day for approval. Any changes that you would like can be made with plenty of time. I will then send you through your final draft a week before your wedding for your final tick of approval. We will also make a time for your rehearsal. Preferably the day before you wedding day, at a similar time, where we will go through the last of the paperwork, making sure we have everything perfect. We will also run through the who, what and where of the ceremony, to make you more familiar with the structure of the ceremony on your big day.

When we first met Kerryl we had just delivered our first born Violet. Violet spent sometime in the NICU which is where we had the pleasure of meeting Kerryl. During what I can only describe as a stressful time, Kerryl was the light. Every night in the NICU Kerryl reassured us with her warm nature and infectious personality. Once Violet was better and we headed home I reached out to Kerryl to thank her for turning our negative experience into a positive one. When she informed us she was in the process of being a celebrant we knew instantly that we couldn’t imagine anyone better to help us celebrate our day. Just the two of us

Legals Only
Includes the happy couple, 2 witnesses and myself. Includes our initial meeting, all legal paperwork, registering your marriage with Births, Deaths & Marriages. A quick, 5 mins, (rings and personal vows optional), registry style ceremony, but a little more fun. Location within 1hr of Bathurst. If you would like this style of ceremony, but outside my local area, let me know. We can have a chat.

Package 2
Come Away with me
from $700
Micro / Let’s elope.
Includes initial meeting and rehearsal, phone/email time, all legal paperwork and registering your marriage with BDM, creation of your personal ceremony, help with personal vows if required, help in settling nerves and pinning flowers on lapels, your ceremony words printed and given to you as a keepsake. This ceremony is short, sweet, maybe 15mins max. You’ll only have around 20-30 guests max, and if needed we can set up a zoom for those who are unable to be there. Travel more than 1hr outside local area will be extra. Please ask for quote.
An initial deposit will save the date.
Package 3
All Love
from $800
Everything
Includes initial meeting, any other face-to-face time you might need, and rehearsal. Phone/email time, all legal paperwork and registering your marriage with BDM, creation of your personal ceremony, help with personal vows if required, help in settling nerves and pinning flowers on lapels, your ceremony words printed and given to you as a keepsake are all part of this package. This ceremony will have all the frills included, if that’s what you would like. Songs, readings, poems, whatever your heart desires. It will be around 30mins long. As many guests as your location will allow. The whole shebang. Travel further than 1.5hrs outside of local area will be extra. All packages will require a $200 deposit at booking Non- refundable unless under exceptional circumstances. Please see Terms and Conditions. If fancy dress attire is required, an extra cost for hire of outfit will be charged.
